After builders cleaning could witness rise in demand

After builders cleaning services could witness a growth in demand as the construction industry returns to strong growth levels this year.

According to the annual survey from the Construction Skills Network, building projects will increase across the UK over the course of the coming year, with Scotland expected to show the strongest levels of growth.

The report revealed that private housing is expected to show the most positive growth levels, with a rate of around ten per cent. Public housing projects are also expected to witness encouraging growth levels.

With the number of building projects growing in 2010, cleaning companies could see the demand for
after building cleaning services grow concurrently.

Commercial cleaning companies could see their after building cleaning treatments rise in demand north of the border in particular, as this region will witness an increase in the number of building projects.

Graeme Ogilvy, director for ConstructionSkills in Scotland, said: "Our figures show cautious optimism and it is interesting to see the areas in which we are leading the pack."
